The figures are drawn from research conducted by Canada Life:
- 57% of British adults do not have a will.
- The figure is lower for those aged over 55, standing at 33%.
- The main reason for not having one is “Not having enough money” (or assets”) to justify having one.
- Other common reasons include “I have plenty of time to do it” and “I’m confused about my estate.”
